Assistant Material Planner and Buyer

Responsibilities:
Assisting Senior Planner & Buyer in:
1. Daily Material Requirements and procurements activities
2. New product introduction and critical path planning
3. Price maintainance and reconcilling invoice discrepancies
4. Maintenance and ensure accuracy of the bill of material
5. Fosters Supplier relationship
6. Work with the quality team for disposition of rejected material
7. Perform Supplier audits and ensure supplier performance (Service, Cost and Quality)
8. Develop and deliver cost savings
9. Manage Product Life Cycle - new material and end of life material for minimal obsolescence
10. Support global sourcing initiatives and vendor transitioning
11. Support of Sales and Operations planning process

Requirements
1. Diploma III preferred with experience and knowledge of MRP II
2. 3 years hands on experience in material planning & purchasing with negotiation skills
3. Temwork and good interpersonal skills
4. Able to work independently
5. Proficient in Ms. Office & ERP systems
6. Fluency in English
