PIPING ENGINEER


SENIOR QC ENGINEER
University degree (S1) in Mechanical / Naval Arc. / Shipbuilding, responsible to carry out routine inspection of piping, structure and steel fabrication. Review all relevant test certification for steel. Ensure identification of all finished good in the yard. Carry out regular welding audits and welder performance qualification. Liaise with Class societies and customers. Carry out internal audits in line with the QMS. Liaise with NDT labs for periodic NDT requirements. Develop quality procedures, method statements and inspection plans.


Specific skills required: Fully conversant with ship terminology / classification rules (ABS, DNV, LLOYDS REGISTER, GERMANISCHER LLOYDS) / ASME / AWS codes and regulation. Fully conversant with codes for welding (ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1, ASME B 31.3). Familiar with material selection and inspection in reference to Classification rules. Having knowledge of welding process (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW). Having knowledge of inspection of marine engine components, deck machinery (winches , crane), pumps, valves, steel fabrication.

Safety Engineer
Preferably university degree with safety / mechanical / technical background, to control all area / location, gas free in tanks and in site location, to assist all work in vessel and other job required on board regarding safety matter, understand about gas detector calibration, Familiar with sections in vessel, to give safety induction for all new employees. Well trained in safety and holding appropriate safety certification such as K3, etc.

Piping Engineer
University degree (S1) in Mechanical engineering, well knowledge in all aspect of piping work, good understanding about piping structure and fabrication, material, tools and equipment, to calculate and order necessary piping material for ship repair, to control and check working progress, to manage all related work for ship repair, to attend technical meeting with subcontractor and ship owner / representative, to decide job item and job volume, to report to superior about working progress and to make piping work completion report after finishing repair work.

Electrical Engineer
To control the electrical circuit for vessel and ship repair job, to meet and discuss with ship owner / representative to decide of work item and work volume, to ensure all electrical job in good control progress, to make electrical work completion report after finishing repair. Excellent understanding of electrical matter in ship repairing activity.
ALL CANDIDATES SHALL BE:

§ Male, age 28-40
§ Having 5 (five) years experience in the same position of ship repair company / shipyard.
§ Excellent communication skills, good command over written and spoken English, Computer literate.
§ Good report and writing skill
§ Dynamic, self motivated, able to demonstrate his leadership
§ Excellent health and fit to work hard in difficult environment
§ Able to organize things and to coordinate with various discipline to ensure the compatibility with all interfacing areas of project
§ Able to work with at least Microsoft Office
